About:
I am a German-Turkish singer-songwriter, composer, producer, writer, and researcher, based in London.

My musical practice embraces both experimental and popular music traditions, working at the intersection of songwriting and verbal scoring. I focus on process, reciprocities, unfinishedness, and embodied knowledges, playing with tendrils of transdisciplinarity. I have a background in film, curation, production, and comparative literature; and I enjoy contamination.

At present, I teach at City St. George's, University of London.

Research interests: composition, repetition, process, the body that sings, verbal scores, improvisation, and multimodality.

I am a committee member of the Music and/as Process RMA Study Group.
